Why Most Leadership Training Fails
Traditional leadership training often stops at the classroom. Participants leave workshops feeling inspired, but when it’s time to apply their new skills in the real world, they’re left unsupported. Without reinforcement or accountability, the learning fades, and organizations miss out on the transformative impact these skills could bring. We have a different approach.
The Summit Collective Approach
-
It Starts in the Classroom
Our immersive, in-person training focuses on building the core skills that are foundational to being a productive team member and an effective leader. These interactive sessions are designed to ensure participants not only learn but also practice and internalize essential leadership behaviors.
-
It is Reinforced with Peer Interaction
Leadership is about more than individual skills—it’s about collaboration, influence, and connection. That’s why our programs emphasize peer interaction as a cornerstone of development. We’re not just teaching leadership—we’re creating leaders who grow together and inspire each other.
-
It Continues with Tracks
Learning doesn’t stop when the workshop ends. After the in-classroom sessions, participants gain access to Tracks, our purpose-built platform designed to bridge the gap between learning and doing. Tracks keeps leaders engaged, aligned with their goals, and connected to their cohorts.
Our Process
-
Summit Collective’s year-long leadership development program features three in-classroom training sessions, delivered once every four months, designed to help participants develop the essential skills to become productive team members and effective leaders. Each classroom session focuses on developing the skills and subsequent monthly cohort meetings serve to reinforce classroom learning.
-
Monthly cohort meetings bring together groups of 6 to 8 participants to reinforce and deepen classroom learning. Guided by a trainer, these sessions use engaging prompts to foster discussion, reflection, and practical application of new skills. Each classroom training introduces fresh concepts, followed by three months of focused cohort interaction to solidify understanding, develop deeper peer relationships, maintain accountability - all of which helps to ensure lasting growth.
-
Tracks is a dynamic platform that reinforces classroom learning through structured learning, self-reflection and other useful tools.
